Managing Director and Founding Director
Finance and Technical Disciplines
Dan’s another seasoned recruiter of some 25 years. Although he has the MD responsibility he is still a hands on recruiter in Finance, PM and technical disciplines. Dan puts extreme value on client retention and has a great eye for detail which is perfect for the fit of his MD hat.
Questions to Daniel as interviewed by Mark.
1.How would you describe the last 20 years working with me in one brief sentence?
Interesting – I now know more about football than most people!
2.What would you say is our biggest strength as a business?
The professional experience we have in house and diversity of our workforce.
3.Professional Rugby player and England international or a journeyman golf pro just making a reasonably decent living?
Journeyman golf pro – I reckon the weather would be better, the career longer and the travel more varied and interesting
4.What are your biggest concerns for the recruitment industry going forward?
Technology trying to replace the skill of people judging best fit long term. Technology can only ever predict the here and now, not how companies have planned to develop and matching candidates aspirations over the next 3 year period.
5.If you were forced to give up wine or beer for eternity, what would it be?
6.Which country would you most like to visit and why?
The UK – we have more cultural diversity here than most countries and it is stunningly beautiful which we seem to undervalue as it is beneath our noses.
