Events & Dining Coordinator






I am recruiting for a new role within an hotel environment in Central London. The role of Events and Dining Executive coordinates and interfaces between Operations, Reservations and Catering.

Reporting to the Events / Functions Manager, you will liaise with Reservations and Ops reviewing and ensuring that all bookings are captured in the system . You will ensure that support functions are informed of footfall which would affect their departments and that facilities are are of specialist building requirements (furniture and audio equipment being booked).

On the Catering side you will have direct responsibility for organising some events in and which will include menu and head count preparation, checking for specific dietary requirements and ensuring that suppliers are engaged to deliver in timely manner. You will also liaise with Departmental PA's and HoD's for final sign off to ensure the integrity of deliver for all events. Some experience of having delivered fine dining events previously would be essential.

This is a key role as hospitality gears up again and you will be an accomplished dotter of i's and crosser of t's, whilst having a hands on approach to ensuring events are delivered successfully. Ideally from hotel ops yourself, you will have excellent comms skills and great organisational ability.

The role is technically M-F and office hours but you will be required to work on some evenings and the occasional weekend. You will be given time back for hours worked over 40 hour standard per week.
