This opportunity would suit someone who has perhaps built their career as a mid-level Producer but who is looking to take the next step up and make a big splash. Producing 2-3 large scale conferences per annum, each with a minimum of £1m revenues, you will be integral to connecting the internal resources and departments to deliver events that are set apart from the run of the mill.
Aside from the skills expected of a Senior Programmes Manager (research, writing, commercial, conducting face-face meetings/research, building rapport). The role also involves:
In collaboration with all Head of Departments:
Business analysis and corporate strategy input (how do we continue to grow the business)
Implementing process efficiencies
Improving inter-departmental cooperation and inter-dependency
The ideal candidate will be at mid-level in their conference career-ready for their next stage as a senior producer!
