Overview:

At Amdas our philosophy has always been about building long term relationships and getting to know our clients and their businesses. In addition to matching skillsets against a job spec, the knowledge of ‘whose face fits where’ has allowed us to successfully recruit for the many different areas of our clients’ business areas.
The definition of a PM is wider than nearly every other discipline to recruit for. When Dan first started recruiting professional PM’s it became consequently apparent that to be successful, it would be necessary to fully appreciate the technical practicalities and requirements more so than most sectors, so he went to school and studied Prince 2.
Having studied the methodology and familiarised myself with the terminology of process and quality improvement arenas (LEAN, Six Sigma, Kaizen etc.), he has since been able to work with different businesses, large and small, from those who required a professional to deliver a small scale change management project though to Project and Programme Managers for global business.

Assignments and Case Studies:

Commercial:

Recruited a BPO specialist for one of the retail banking groups who negotiated and established the parameters for offshoring non-core transactional for IT Finance.
Placed a LEAN/Six Sigma process engineer within an aerospace business to assist a Group wide restructuring project.

Not for Profit:

Supplied a Business Planning Manager whose task it was to generate synergies and effect cost savings to a newly merged entity of previously two major charities whilst ensuring ongoing service delivery to their clients and operations.
